Network HR has been retained by a multinational organisation to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner , overseeing the global HR function, including full operational accountability for the European HR operation. The company is looking to move towards a decentralised model to underpin deeper strategy for business units, as well as continuing to grow via M&A activity, therefore we are looking for a tactical HR professional to help execute the changes, influence business leaders and help create a HR agenda (global remit covering 800 heads – with connections to group) for this Business Unit (high performing division within group).



Reporting in to the CEO, with a dotted line in to the Senior VP of HR, you will have the ability to understand business dynamics and translate into an HR agenda while at the same time being operational. An ability to zoom into operational activity and soon after, zoom out to tackle strategical issues – experience in international HR is a must.



The ideal candidate will have the following exposure:

Generalist background with an international remit – ideally you will have a good understanding of Labour Laws
Building and shaping an HR agenda – strong influencing skills and tactical approach
Exposure to M&A - supporting business through growth (organic & M&A)
Previous experience of managing a team (2 direct reports and 1 in-country)
Ability to recognise inconsistencies and drive efficiencies across business
Worked within a blue collar environment, with close business relationships
Ability to navigate matrix structures
Evidence of supporting Line Managers in implementing human resources policies, such as employee training and development programs, salary structure, performance appraisal and recognition and compensation & benefits plans
Demonstrate initiatives around culture and engagement


Whilst the organisation is open to flexibility, the individual will understand the value of being together in the office. My client is open to discussing hybrid working options, however the site is based in East Sussex and will require presence.
