A leading, progressive, US Law firm are currently looking to expand their established HR team and are looking for a HR Assistant to support all transactional activities across HR operations and Recruitment. The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive, proactive efficient, accurate and consistent HR administrative support to the HR team for all recruitment and HR operations activity. The expectation will be to develop and improve administrative processes and procedures within the International HR function. This role will Report to the HR Manager.
The successful candidate will be a highly efficient organiser with excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail and strong IT skills. Confident communication skills are essential as is a flexible, professional and team-orientated attitude.
Recruitment
• Prepare company documentation and support all administrative tasks through all stages of the recruitment process
• maintain the firm's candidate portal
• Schedule interviews and all arrangements for selection events
• Assisting the HR Manager with answering queries via the London Recruitment inbox
• Drafting Employment Contracts and Offer Letters for the HR Manager and International Director of HR
• Assisting the HR Manager with the firm's graduate recruitment programme

HR Operations
• Ensure all personnel records, soft and hard copy, are kept up to date and accessible to the HR team, and adhere fully to Data Protection standards
• Prepare standard and ad hoc correspondence, including offer letters, references, contract changes etc for signature
• Liaise with the firm HR Operations team to onboard new employees, ensuring background checks are completed and preparing induction schedules
• Complete new joiner administration including preparation of induction packs, setting up personnel files and alerting all relevant support staff of upcoming joiners/leavers in a timely fashion
• Administer, distribute and maintain records for all benefits data
• Monitoring through support documentation for probation periods, exit interviews, maternity/paternity/parental leave, flexible working applications, absence, health alerting to the HR Manager and International Director of HR when end of probation periods are approaching
• Liaise with the firm HR Operations team to ensure the HR database is kept up to date for all international employees
• Operate, maintain and audit data on all HR systems

General
• Provide support with any HR projects or ad hoc tasks as required
• Play an active role and contribute new ideas and suggestions for the development of the HR team generally continuous improvement across the HR function
