Due to considerable organisational wide changes, my client is keen to secure a transactional HR expert, with team leader experience, for a 12 month interim role. The post-holder will join a brand new, Shared Services function.



JOB PURPOSE



To develop an effective HRSS delivery model that delivers excellence in all aspects of

HR transactional related tasks, such as processing starters, leavers, transfers etc., as well as inputting payroll data entry and undertaking HR query management.



The post-holder will be in charge of managing a team of three HRSS Officers, so prior line management experience is key.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



* Embed a high level of customer service within this new function, leading and developing a team of HRSS professionals to ensure an accurate and efficient administration and helpdesk query handling service is delivered to the workforce

* Overall responsibility for the function in connection to workflow management, including prioritisation of work requests and assignments, ensuring effective management of resources

* Monitor and analyse tasks and workflow, addressing and resolving any issues

* Ensure on-going development and training of the HRSS team, making sure they constantly deliver excellent customer service

* Suggest and implement process improvements, ensuring streamlined and efficient processes

* Monitor data entry, ensuring high levels of accuracy especially with producing HR documents such as contracts of employment

* Ensure effective controls are in place to meet SOX requirements or other auditable processes as required, plus also make sure high levels of confidentiality are maintained by the SS team

* Develop, and provide when required, management information (MI) for the wider business, plus issue reports on companywide trends, KPIs and SLAs



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



* Operational / transactional HR experience

* Line Management exposure

* Excellent process improvement skills

* HR system ‘savvy', with an analytical mindset

* Availability to start a new role early April 2018
