A market leading Manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly capable HR Advisor to join at an exciting time. Having recently undertaken a change in HR at a local level, altering the service and how it supports the business, it has become evident that a HR Advisor is now needed to work as part of an established team.
Reporting to the HR Manager you will be able to work autonomously, be a problem solver, and be someone who enjoys the pace of manufacturing. Due to the nature of the business you will predominantly focus on ER issues including end-to-end case management, reducing levels of absence, increasing Managers' capability of dealing with their own People/ER issues, working closely with the Employee Forums to achieve desired goals; and a range of project work.
To be considered for this role you must:
• Have worked within a manufacturing/engineering environment;
• Not be afraid to spend time on the shop floor, engaging with staff at all levels, and address issues;
• Have managed ER cases from beginning to end;
• Be able to evidence where you have managed to successfully reduce levels of absence.
