Do you have extensive experience of designing and delivering training solutions to staff within the care industry? If so we want to hear from you.
Within this Learning and Development role, the post-holder will be in charge of identifying training needs for staff working across 11 care homes and then completing the end to end training process to ensure compliance, in line with CQC regulations and company standards.
-Assisting with the design and evaluation of a range of training solutions for care and support staff
-Delivering a range of workshops, programmes and solutions to staff within the care industry - this will include training on safeguarding, dementia etc.
-Supporting staff whilst they complete e-learning modules i.e. on infection control
-Recommending improvements to L&D practices, to support the needs of the organisation
-Utilising appropriate tools and techniques to ensure that skilled staff are available across the business
-Ensuring regulatory requirements are met, in regards to training within the healthcare sector i.e. that all staff complete mandatory training, to meet set standards in line with CQC requirements
-Dealing with performance management issues by delivering suitable training solutions
-Providing an effective partnering service to key business stakeholders / building up strong working relationships with both internal and external customers and clients
-Handling any shortfalls in service delivery by evaluating and developing training regularly
-Undertaking ad-hoc project work as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-A full, current driving licence
-Working knowledge of the Care / not for profit / supported living (or similar) industries i.e. an understanding of training practices specific to healthcare, social care etc., is ESSENTIAL. Please do not apply if you do not have a health & social care training background!
-A relevant training qualification i.e. PTTLS, CIPD, CTP etc.
