£35,000 - £40,000

A leading Engineering business is seeking a capable HR professional to provide a truly generalist service to a diverse internal customer base.

Based from Head Office you will act as the primary point of contact for staff throughout the business – a mix of blue and white collar staff, some static and some mobile – and as such you must be able to manage relationships with this varied workforce.

The role has been newly created to ensure that the HR Generalist acts as the conduit between HR and the wider business, ensuring the HR Director is able to provide a truly strategic service to the organisation.

In this role you will deal with all elements of the HR lifecycle as well as taking ownership of a number of projects as dictated by the HR Director and the Global Head Quarters (change management, cultural change, ER, recruitment, talent management, succession planning etc.). With the business segment operating throughout Europe, you will have the opportunity to work closely with European colleagues.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

Experience of having worked within a blue collar environment;
Had exposure of working closely with a sales force;
Graduate CIPD/Level 5 status;
Had exposure to working with European colleagues (this would be beneficial).

This role is based from Head Office in Birmingham but will require an element of travel (2 days per Quarter).
