Are you currently on the look-out for a new senior Reward focused appointment on a permanent basis? Can you easily commute to South London? And do you have previous experience of designing and delivering comprehensive total reward and recognition frameworks which are values-based, fair and affordable?

JOB PURPOSE



The post-holder will ensure that all performance, reward and recognition initiatives are aligned to the wider business plan, organisation designs and group structures, to ensure the organisation is achieving its key operational, people & business goals during a period of transformation and change. They will work towards the organisation becoming an ‘employer of choice' through a range of Reward focused tasks, listed below:



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



* Overall responsibility for the Reward department (the role will be standalone come January 2019), including managing the relevant budget

* Undertaking Job evaluation and pay reviews, utilising the methodology set by Korn Ferry Hay Group. Therefore, exposure to KFH or Hay schemes is essential to the role.

* Driving recognition frameworks across the organisation to assist with attraction, retention and employee engagement

* Project management of a new Reward strategy, with input from ExCo members, Director of People and other functional leaders, including the roll out of said new agenda and competencies

* Utilising HR systems such as ResourceLink & Cognos to pull off and analyse key data & trends

* Managing executive performance and reward initiatives i.e. ensuring executive pay & bonuses are aligned with both individual and business performance

* Managing the administration and execution of the annual performance / pay / bonus & recognition schemes

* Undertaking project work such as survey participation and analysis, and compensation integration for mergers and acquisitions

* Evaluation and analysis of remuneration data, providing recommendations and changes as required, as well as utilising this information for benchmarking exercises

* Undertaking calculation, analysis and reporting of data in line with the gender pay gap report

* Providing advice and guidance to line managers and employees on reward and recognition including on pay, incentives, benefits, recognition scheme etc., building up strong stakeholder and workforce relationships

* Assisting both the Head of People Operations & Talent Acquisition Manager to develop pay and benefits packages for potential new hires















KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



* Experience of Executive Pay and working with a RemCo

* Experience of designing and implementing a reward strategy linked to the business strategy

* Experience of working within a staff represented or unionised environment

* Prior knowledge of using the Korn Ferry / Hay job evaluation methodology

* Strong analytical and project management skillset

* Excellent interpersonal style including strong stakeholder management skills (up to ExCo level)

* Commercial mindset, with prior change management exposure

* Multi-sector experience is desirable, as is some exposure to the social housing sector
