A leading professional services firm are looking to recruit an experienced HR Consultant / HR Operations Manager to join this growing team based in West Midlands on a permanent basis.



Main Responsibilities





1. Establish, develop, promote and deliver commercially-focused HR consultancy services in both the commercial and public sector

2. Deliver high quality HR advice, guidance and support by telephone, on-line or on site with clients and to identify further opportunities to build strong relationships

3. Undertake fixed-fee projects for clients and deliver on time and to agreed budget

4. Take responsibility for the drafting and approval of all employment policies in line with employment legislation and client requirements and their subsequent communication and distribution through on-line bulletins and provision of hard copy updates

5. Promote HR consultancy services/projects to potential clients under the direction of the Company Directors

6. Take day to day responsibility for the Company Website and Twitter account and in doing so monitor and manage the on-line interface including drafting employment updates, blogs, tweets etc

7. Deputise for the Senior HR Consultant in their absence

8. Assist in the mentoring/coaching of the HR Administrator/HR Advisor

9. Take responsibility for and attend to self-development

10. Undertake any other duties within the general level and experience expected of the role



As Senior HR Consultant, in addition to the above responsibilities, to:



11. Develop an employment advice/support product/service that can be promoted to new and existing clients

12. Take responsibility for the management of client accounts including annual contract renewals, monthly billing and debt management

13. Day-to-day management of the HR Administrator/HR Advisor

14. Deputise for the Director in their absence



The successful candidate must be CIPD qualified (or working towards it) and client focused. You will be working with SME clients providing generalist HR solutions.
