Interim Compensation & Benefits Manager



Central London



circa £50,000 - £55,000 per annum – 12 month contract



A multinational publishing firm is keen to secure the expertise of an experienced Compensation & Benefits / Reward Specialist, who needs to be available to start a new role a.s.a.p. (i.e. by end of September 2018), undertaking a maternity cover contact for 12 months.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



The role will join the wider HR team of 30, undertaking a wide variety of Comp & Bens tasks for a business of circa 2,000 employees in the UK – the role has no reports and the post-holder will work autonomously.



Key tasks for the role will include:



*Total responsibility for managing day-to-day reward activity, driving the annual reward processes, such as salary review and bonus payments

*Create and maintain the annual reward calendar, and organisational salary bands / structures, ensuring alignment against both internal and external markets

*Become the lead on all job evaluation processes for the company, utilising suitable methodology

*Undertake bonus planning, design, review and administration in conjunction with the HR generalist team and finance colleagues

*Support on international employee relocation

*Act as a point of expertise and information on reward practices in the UK, liaising with global Compensation and Benefits teams to fulfil all reporting requirements

*Liaise with third party benefit suppliers as required

*Lead on the collation and delivery of gender pay information

*Act as an internal advisor on all projects/initiatives with a compensation & benefits impact



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



* Proven compensation and benefits experience within a commercial organisation

* Strong numerical and analytical skills

* Advanced MS Excel skills

* Ability to work independently to deadlines

* Availability to start a new role in September 2018
