HR Shared Service Specialist


Circa £40,000 per annum

My client, a conglomerative of consultancy businesses with employees across Europe and North America, is currently looking for up to 3 individuals (with excellent exposure to HR Shared Services functions) to join their EMEA HR Operations team at their Central London HQ.


Reporting into the Head of Shared Services, the post-holders will play key project support roles in assisting with the set-up of a world-class, HR Administration / Transactional, Shared Services Centre.

Each role will have a key area of responsibility – listed below:

HR Governance

• This role is being offered on a permanent basis

• It will focus on developing the overall Governance and Service Delivery framework for the newly formed HR Shared Service Centre

• The post-holder will design and build the change governance framework for the HR SSC, ensuring alignment to the needs of the business and the HR function, plus also assist with the creation of a HR Portal and relevant tools within this (i.e. in line with the 2 roles below)

• The ideal candidate needs to showcase prior experience of developing change governance and service delivery frameworks, so needs strong analytical skills in line with setting up HR SSC performance dashboards

HR Case Management

• This role will be offered on 12 month FTC basis

• It will focus on the accountability for the operational support and maintenance of a HR Case Management tool

• The post-holder will work closely with key Technology and HRIS functions to continuously optimise, improve and enhance user experiences

• The ideal candidate needs to showcase prior experience of designing and developing a HR Case Management tool, so needs excellent HR Systems knowledge

HR Systems / Portal Creation

• This role will be offered on 12 month FTC basis

• It will focus on the development and implementation of a centralised HR Portal & Knowledge Base, which will support both HR and business end users to find solutions to their HR queries through self-service

• The post-holder will provide input into the design and development of the knowledge base, liaising with key stakeholders across the business to source the correct HR information and then collate this centrally

• The ideal candidate needs to showcase strong project management experience related to collating data and creating centralised HR portals / dashboards / intranet pages etc.

All 3 roles are due to start A.S.A.P and will play an instrumental part in ensuring the successful introduction, & then operation of, a world-class HR Shared Services function for this international business.
