An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HR Manager to join as the successor to a Head of Human Resources based in London. The firm we're acting on behalf of is a PE backed, ultra-high growth investment management platform (mix of tech and financial services) who have grown their assets by 130% to US$5BN. Having hired a globally recognised Head of HR on a consulting basis, this 90 person firm now require a permanent HR Manager to scale their UK and US footprint (which are already predicted to hit mid-100 headcount by Q1 2019). The Head of HR will up skill this HR Manager to take on the Head of HR role inside a 12 month period. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-potential HR Business Partner to guarantee themselves career trajectory, and ultimately work with a CEO who's background includes CEO / NED roles in Investment Banking, Technology, Private Equity and Hedge Fund.



Responsibilities

• Managing all HR / People matters across London in a people facing role

• Seek to proactively understand business' needs and formulate appropriate and effective HR strategies to support the business whilst taking into account the broader implications

• Drive organisational effectiveness including change management and implement the overall people strategy

• Enhance Organisation Design to support international growth (US) & operations

• Manage all ER issues

• Responsible for recruitment within the office using external parties where required

• Keep abreast of the macros and trends, anticipate the impact on people and recommend solutions

• Close engagement with business to identify high potentials and accelerate their potential by facilitating their training & development roadmaps

• Support the Head of HR on advising on UK regulation and legislation regarding reward and ER

• Effective influencing of stakeholders

• Successfully execute local HR processes and decisions through effective communications

• Ensure compliance of all HR practices within area of responsibility and with legislative and regulatory requirements, standards and other known relevant policies and guidelines



Desirable Skills & Attributes

• Ability to work at pace, with a high degree of accuracy

• Must come from a Services Background and have recent experience working for an SME

• Ability and a willingness to roll sleeves up and work through operational work alongside strategic input

• Gravitas and good stakeholder management skills

• Broad generalist HR experience will be required

• Experience of working in an agile, high-growth business will be required

• Demonstrates a flexible/agile approach and an ability to change direction with minimum disruption /impact to others

• Someone who thinks deeply to understand business issues and then who acts decisively and is execution – focused and is committed to delivering on time at pace

• Personable with a preference for developing strong working relationships
