Following the announcement by my client of a highly confidential, highly complex acquisition of a site from a competitor, this leading company requires a Project Manager to coordinate and oversee components of the project plan to manage the successful transition and integration.
Leading on this you will oversee subject matter experts who will lead on certain elements of this change; whilst not forming part of a Project Team, it will be your responsibility to lead on this ensuring the project is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities will include:
Planning and designing transformation programs and proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
Providing strong leadership and achieving outcomes within tightly controlled timeframes
Ensuring the delivery of projects is to a high level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with program plan and program governance arrangements
Managing the input of subject matter experts into key project activities; for example; detailed design, business process change and change management.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, based in West London with some travel associated with it.
