A leading manufacturing organisation with an unparalleled reputation within the industry has a requirement for an L&D Specialist to join at an exciting time for the business, operating within a fast paced, commercially focussed environment.
As a newly created role, the L&D Specialist will be responsible for providing a comprehensive L&D service to a diverse internal customer base; however your primary focus will be to work closely with Line Managers and the shop floor workforce to understand skills gaps, identify training needs, redesign training packs and arrange technical training courses accordingly.
Due to the nature of the business, this role will also encompass an element of administration and coordination, ensuring training records are maintained and up to date, and that audits are managed in a timely and effective manner.
My client is eager to ensure that the role evolves, resulting in being involved in more complex issues, Train The Trainer, and the creation and delivery of Management Development courses .

Have gained experience of working in a generalist L&D role within a fast paced organisation;
Have worked in a fast paced manufacturing or industrial environment;
Be robust and resilient to work in this environment.
