Network HR have been appointed by a leading housing association to recruit a Leading & Development Partner to support them through a huge cultural transformation programme, championed by the CEO. The post holder will play an integral role in the development and delivery of the Learning & OD elements of the people strategy. You will lead in the identification of L&OD needs across the company and drive the development of activities that will develop the capability of managers and employees; and engage the business.

A huge part of this role will include devising an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion plan, Wellbeing, Performance management (including appraisals, objectives & PDPS, H&S development, Qualification management, Coaching & Mentoring and Embedding values.



Role; Learning & Development Partner

Salary; £53,000

Location: Croydon



Key Accountabilities:

Inspire, lead and be a role model, consistently demonstrating the company culture and values

Manage, motivate, support, and develop the team, leading by example to ensure excellent services are provided in line with organisational policies.

Manage your team / department spend within agreed budgets and deliver value for money at all times

Champion resident focus and ensure your team and others put residents at the heart of all they do.



Knowledge required:

Work with key stakeholders across the business to deliver all elements of the L&OD strategy, to support performance improvement and delivery against organisational and operational objectives.

Work with the People Business Partners to identify training needs; support and guide the development and implementation of comprehensive training, talent and career development plans.

Design and deliver comprehensive L&OD interventions, activities and materials

Support and manage the delivery of effective and engaging eLearning activities at all levels.

Maximise return on investment across the learning portfolio; ensuring all learning is evaluated, effective and embedded.

Provide oversight and leadership to the L&OD co-ordinators and trainers.

Design, implement, manage and continuously improve an effective and appropriate integration programme involving schools, colleges, universities and other future skills establishments to help to maximise engagement and future pools of emerging talent recruitment.

Implement and build on the Academy as a tool to support learning and development for all staff.

Work with, give support and provide guidance to the People Business Partners to ensure a consistent approach.

Support the Director of Learning and Organisational Development in understanding the needs of the business and ensure our development programmes are designed to meet those needs, as well as undertaking special projects as required.
