Interim Recruitment Advisor – 6 month FTC

Central London

£35,000 to £45,000 per annum plus benefits

A market leading Insurance company is keen to secure the skills of an experienced Recruiter to join their business on a contract basis during a period of growth. The successful Recruiter will play an active role within the group HR function providing an excellent service to both senior management and employees within the group. The ideal candidate must have experience in either Insurance or a broad knowledge of Financial Services.


• Support the Recruitment team in managing the service across all brands within the Insurance Group

• Coordinate the advertising process (Internally and externally)

• Provide hiring managers with the advisory service, tools and information to support them to recruit directly

• Provide guidance to the business regarding the preferred suppliers list (PSL)

• Liaise directly with preferred suppliers and negotiate rates outside of the current PSL

• Create, upload and monitor live vacancies.

• To ensure that the recruitment platforms and processes are designed for business use and kept up to date

• Take full ownership of the recruitment to onboarding process from;

- Arranging for vacancies to be advertised

- Support with direct candidate sourcing

- Support candidates to ensure they have a positive experience

- Manage the applicant tracking process ensuring all actions have been completed in a timely manner

- Direct HRES and HSSC on issuing offer letters and employment contracts

• Ensure all Right to Work documentation has been returned

• Ad-hoc recruitment support for business initiatives e.g. Graduate campaign

• Design and implement recruitment pages for internal Intranet


• Experience of dealing with high volume recruitment campaigns ideally within Insurance or a similar sector i.e. Financial Services

• Demonstrable direct sourcing skillset

• Prior experience of utilising online sources to find talent

• Strong stakeholder management skills will be required - either from an inhouse background, or demonstrated via longstanding client relationships (within agency / RPO set-ups)
