A national facilities services & engineering company is keen to secure the talents of a hardworking, highly technical HR Business Partner, on a permanent basis.



The successful post-holder will have extensive experience of working across multiple sites, handling high-level, fast paced operational HR & Talent issues within a heavily blue collar, engineering focused workforce.



JOB PURPOSE



The post-holder will be responsible for handling operational HR issues, i.e. a range of ER and talent management related tasks, alongside line management responsibility for 2 junior HR employees (a HR Administrator and HR Advisor).

The chosen directorate for this HRBP is currently focused on the Engineering side of the business, which is a very fast-paced, growing division. As well as developing and motivating a small team, the post-holder will be tasked with managing high volume, complex ER case work, as well as rolling out succession plans and development strategies to assist with developing internal talent. This will include occasional travel to other sites, therefore the post-holder must be willing to travel & have a full current driving licence.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent generalist HR skillset, alongside strong supervisory & development experience. Sector knowledge within industries such as Engineering and Construction is a highly desirable, and prior exposure to working in a fast paced, blue collar environment is a MUST!



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



* CIPD level 7 qualification

* Senior, generalist skillset within a relevant blue collar led, multi-site environment (Construction or Engineering is the preferred sector(s)

* Excellent Employee Relations AND Talent Management knowledge

* Strong commercial mindset

* Ability to travel regularly

* Can-do attitude with the ability to ‘roll your sleeves up' and hit the ground the running i.e. this role is OPERATIONAL not strategic!
