My client, a large Education Trust are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. The successful HR Advisor will join an established HR team of eleven who enjoy challenges and prides themselves on the support they give to their clients. Working from home or from a school, you will provide a comprehensive generalist service to headteachers and business managers across (approx.) fifteen primary academies.
The HR Advisor will be the first port of call for information and advice on employee relations, recruitment, contracts and payroll in relation to teaching and support staff. You will provide guidance/advice via email or over the telephone on case work, policies and procedures. You will also draft contracts and letters, oversee occupational health assessments and support recruitment activity. This role would suit a generalist who doesn't mind a demanding and high volume workload.
Up to date employment law is essential and experience of supporting managers is key. Knowledge of the Burgundy and Green books would be advantageous but not necessary. Some travel to schools sites will be required however there are flexible working options available which included part time and term time plus.

• CIPD Qualified Level 5 or relevant experience

• Able to evidence a proven track record in a previous employee relations role
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Able to show initiative and a willingness to learn
