A market leading West Midlands based business that boast annual sales of $1billion are seeking a highly capable, commercially focused HR Generalist to cover a period of maternity leave. This will be for 12 months.
Working in a truly generalist capacity, and engaging with a varied internal customer base, you will be the go-to HR practitioner for employees across the business in the UK and on the Continent and sit as part of the UK Leadership team
My client is seeking a "hands-on" Level 5 CIPD qualified HR practitioner – ideally with multi-lingual ability, preferably French (although this is not essential) – who can provide a generalist service whilst also delivering on a range of projects including:
Partnering closely with the General Manager Europe, you will assist with design, development and deployment of new HR projects, programs and policies aligned with business objectives i.e. realignments and/or organisational changes as required
Coherent recruitment and selection programs to run alongside change management programs. This is likely to include multi-lingual recruitment into our UK teams
Ensure full utilization of the Workday HRIS system across Europe
Facilitation of annual performance related pay in line with US Practice
Continuation of UK Talent & Capability reviews and action programs alongside senior management teams
Promote the important of regular performance dialogues and cultural values across the organization
All other day-to-day HR Generalist tasks including; HR policies, programs and procedures that ensure positive employee relations and the highest levels of organization performance
Lead the employee communication and engagement initiatives.
This role will support predominately the UK business but there exists potential need to support teams on the Continent through periods of transition over the next 12 months. Due to this, there may be some ad-hoc travel to Belgium and France required within the remit of the role.
