Network HR are working on a retained basis on behalf of an influential, longstanding FTSE250, financial services organisation to appoint a well-established and ambitious Head of Reward, based in their Solihull HQ. This newly defined appointment will see you sit alongside the HR senior leadership team, report directly into the HRD and take lead on the full group-wide Reward agenda; from the design and development to the delivery and management.

Acting as Head of Reward you will hold key accountability for;
• Managing a small team, upskilling when necessary
• Remaining up to date with all relevant regulatory changes and policies
• Supporting with the restructure of the remuneration policy across the business
• Communicating changes and information across the wider organisation in relation to Comp, Bens, Pension and financial wellbeing
• Owning the full reward agenda and carrying out both strategic, operational and occasionally more transactional duties
• Carrying out benchmarking activity against competitors to remain attractive to external talent
• Sitting on the RemCo, working closely with the Chair and supporting with collating relevant documentation as well as participating during meetings and maintain frequent liaison and facetime with external advisors
• Leading on specific reward projects to support ongoing HR initiatives

Due to the nature of the role and organisation, in order to be successful, the below requirements are imperative;
• Prior experience working within a Retail or Corporate banking environment
• Detailed and up to date knowledge of regulatory changes effecting the banking community
• Ability to communicate effectively across a range of levels and departments
• Man-management experience; please note, this does not need to be a large team
• Previous, senior level exposure of running a full reward agenda
• A desire to develop and progress within an evolving, well-respected organisation
