A leading manufacturing business with a global presence is seeking a highly capable, commercially focused HR Business Partner to provide a comprehensive service a to a diverse internal customer base.

The role has arisen due to changes taking place and improvements being identified in terms of how HR can be delivered within the UK. As HR Business Partner you will lead on HR issues at a manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Worcester and forming part of the site Leadership Team, you will ensure HR is elevated, allowing the business to realise some ambitious goals.

In this role you will support the Head of HR – permitting them to focus on some high level strategic projects – whilst ensuring that all operational HR issues are effectively managed. You will also implement HR initiatives including, amongst others, talent, succession planning, employee engagement etc.

As HR Business Partner you will provide a truly generalist service whilst also being the lead on Learning & Development activity throughout the UK business, and as such, you will have had experience of this, particularly around soft skill training (identifying what training providers are best situation to assist the business) and how best to utilise the Apprentice levy; ultimately you will be responsible for creating frameworks and how best to develop staff.

To be considered for this role you will be:

Level 5 CIPD qualified;

Experienced within a blue collar manufacturing environment;

A true generalist, able to provide a Business Partnering service;

Involved with aspects of L&D and the Apprentice Levy.
