NetworkHR are delighted to be working alongside a highly reputable and well regarded large service provider to secure the talents of an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion to join them on site in Watford.

The newly defined role of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager will see the successful individual delivering EDI outputs that meet and exceed project objectives and deliver optimum client satisfaction. This role will see you;

• Managing the EDI strategy through development and clear communication
• Implementing the EDI plan to incorporate workforce and supplier diversity
• Designing procedures and policies in line with the project and communicating changes
• Successfully achieving an externally verified EDI standard

This individual will influence and upskill suppliers and the wider workforce with ED&I policies that have been developed in-keeping with the parent company’s strategy. Despite a clear strategic level to the appointment, this role will also require the successful candidate to support the business from an operational aspect i.e. training

The following experience will be held by the ideal candidate;

• Ability to demonstrate previous experience of implementing an EDI strategy which, has a focus on workforce and supply chain diversity
• Strong attention to detail
• Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
• The ability and desire to work within a fast paced, ever-changing, collaborative environment
• The willing to add real impact across a large workforce, numerous other organisations and a sector as a whole
• Innovative tendencies
• Strong relationship building skills and a personable and credible nature

It may be an advantage for the candidate to come from a Construction background or have exposure working with an Industry body however this is not a prerequisite.
