An exciting opportunity for an experienced D&I Consultant has become available to join a forward thinking organisation. You will co-develop and implement the D&I strategy across the organisation and will ensure diversity is embedded and promoted in everything the company does. You will work closely with the different business units, managers and colleague network groups to help ensure this organisation continue to develop an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome and free to bring their whole selves to work.

You will be a highly experienced, inspiring and visible business manager with a track record of influencing and inspiring individuals and teams to adopt different mindsets and behaviours in order to drive performance and culture. You will also be an excellent communicator across a wide range of audiences, presenting diversity recommendations in a user-friendly manner.



Role:

• Work with the Director of People Experience on developing and implementing the D&I strategy that improves colleague experience, whilst supporting the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives

• Provide professional advice and guidance to senior leaders, managers and colleagues relating to diversity legislation, regulation and best practice

• Lead on the structures to support diversity championing and colleague networking groups

• Lead on the organisations submission to specialist D&I indexes

• Disseminate learning and awareness-raising across the company, making use of existing networks and developing new ones where appropriate

• Lead by example in relation to understanding the opportunities and challenges contained within the business units and contribute to realizing and overcoming them

• Lead by example in promoting the company values and culture both within the organisation and outside

• Promote the companies vision and ensure it is realised in all activities and services



Experience:

• Good knowledge of the associated legislation and regulatory frameworks

• Experience of having led on diversity issues at a corporate level

• Ability to interpret information and make sense of data from a variety of sources

• Good understanding of working within a regulated sector

• Experience of managing projects, proposal, submissions and budgets
