HR Manager

£55,000 + benefits

A leading manufacturing organisation with an unparalleled reputation within the industry has a requirement for a HR Manager to join at an exciting time for the business, operating within a fast paced, commercially focussed, Unionised environment.

As HR Manager you will act as a central point of contact for staff throughout the organisation ensuring a consistent approach is taken from a HR perspective, maintaining a high level of visibility on the shop floor, and having the ability to be a people -person; engaging with staff operating at all levels within the business in order to provide this proactive HR service to the business.

Providing a generalist service to a diverse internal customer base you will take ownership of all HR issues for the site; this will include both operating as a strategic Business Partner to the Site Leadership team, whilst also getting your hands dirty and taking ownership of all transactional and operational issues.

With responsibility for a HR Advisor (who is a shared resource) this role is NOT for the feint hearted; you will be involved in all aspects of HR and will be happy to do so.

My client is eager to secure the services of a capable and experienced HR Manager. With this in mind, and to be considered for this opportunity, you MUST:

Be Level 5/7 CIPD qualified (this is non-negotiable);

Have gained experience of working in a generalist HR role within a fast paced organisation;

Have worked in a fast paced manufacturing or industrial environment;

Be robust and resilient to work in this environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional to work in a role that will be rewarding; you will gain exposure to a range of issues across the HR spectrum.
