Payroll Mobilisation Lead 5MFTC
Birmingham (Flexible home working)
£35-45,000 + Benefits


My client, a large national service provider based in Birmingham is looking to appoint an experienced Payroll mobilisation lead to join them on a 5-month FTC. The business has just embarked on a vast change transformation project so you will be working closely with the Transition & Mobilisation Lead and Director . The successful candidate will have a solid background in Payroll and have wider expertise around government sector Pension schemes. You will have experience of managing Payroll projects where you will be expected to implement the set up of payroll and liaise with the thirty party outsource provider to transition employees. Responsibilities will include:

• Being the main point of contact for Payroll implementation- answering queries from the business
• Liaising with the Project Manager and Director on any challenges for SLA’s
• Building a relationship with outsourced Payroll provider
• Transfer of TUPE staff into the payroll system
• Successfully run the new payroll set up (dummy run)

What you will need:
• Solid payroll experience- ideally in a mobilisation capacity
• Expertise of Government Pension schemes (Greater Manchester would be ideal)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of working in a large, fast paced organisation.
