This leading FMCG business is seeking a highly capable and experienced Training Officer to move in to this newly created role, within an organisation that has never had a truly dedicated Training professional within it. As such this is a truly exciting opportunity for you to make a positive impression within a fast paced environment!
Have grown at a rate of 20% year on year since its inception, the business boasts close to a £100 million turnover, and will provide an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build on existing experience of having worked as a Training Officer.
With the business acknowledging that improvements need to be made across the board from a Training perspective there are very few areas that you won’t be involved in! You will work with Senior Managers to understand short fallings and to understand the direction in which the training function needs to move in.
You will take ownership of designing and delivering best-in-class training that will cover manufacturing practices through to soft skills (for example Management Development). You will also utilise the apprenticeship levy where appropriate to pinpoint key areas for use and identify practical courses that fit business nature.
To be considered for this opportunity you will:
• Have gained training/L&D experience within a fast paced manufacturing/engineering environment;
• Hold a formal training qualification;
• Be creative in delivering solutions to problems;
