An internationally established manufacturing business is seeking a highly engaging, proactive and commercially minded HR Manager. Following the appointment of a new General Manager - who is undertaking a root-and-branch review of the site - the HR Manager will be key in terms of delivering in line with business needs and strategy to ensure the business objectives are met.
Working as part of an established HR team your role will be split you will provide a generalist service within this fast paced blue collar environment, raising the bar of HR and in turn raise the performance of the site.
The role will sit on the Site Leadership team supporting and developing the strategic programs to improve site performance and achievement of key objectives. The role will require the balance of managing the day-to-day activities against executing the strategic plans in addition to participating in a variety of projects which will provide experience in a HR function in one of the leading global manufacturing organisations.
To be considered for this role you must:
Have worked as a HR Manager within a fast paced manufacturing environment;
Be able to work at pace;
Be a true generalist, having touched on all aspects of the HR lifecycle both operationally and strategically;
Be flexible to travel to a site in Worcester approx. 1 day per week;
Have managed a HR team.
